I’m a mom to a children with special needs, and I’m really involved in making sure they get the support they need. To better help them and open up more opportunities, I went and got my CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license. It’s been a way for me to be more hands-on in my child's care and advocate for them in ways that matter.

Being a parent to a child with special needs has also taught me to appreciate the small things in life—the little victories and moments of connection that might seem small to others but mean the world to me. I find so much joy in those everyday moments.

I also love going to the gym; it’s my space to focus on myself, recharge, and take care of my body. It helps me stay strong mentally and physically, which is essential when I have so many responsibilities. The balance between being there for my child, finding joy in the little things, and taking time for myself at the gym really keeps me going.
