Branding & Headshots

photography

As a photographer, when I talk about headshots and branding, I'm referring to the images that capture not just your appearance but your professional identity and the essence of what you represent. These photographs go beyond just looking good – they help you communicate who you are, what you do, and how you want to be perceived in your professional world.

STARTING PRICE: $600

What's To expect:

  • Personal Consultation: Before any shoot, we’ll have a discussion to get to know you, your profession, your goals, and your brand’s vibe. Are you looking for something polished and corporate, or casual and friendly? Or perhaps a mix of both?
  • Location & Environment: For headshots, I’ll typically choose simple, clean backgrounds that let you stand out. For branding, the environment can be more dynamic – shooting in locations that represent your work, whether it’s an office, a creative studio, or an outdoor setting that matches your brand.
  • Style & Lighting: For headshots, lighting is key to ensuring your face is well-lit and sharp, often with soft, flattering light. In branding photography, I like to play with natural light and different settings to capture moments that feel authentic to you and your brand's identity.
  • Personal Touch: Headshots capture who you are in a moment, but branding photos are more about the story behind the person. Together, we’ll ensure your images communicate your message clearly and memorably, whether it's for a professional network or marketing your creative business.

Portrait photography

Portrait photography is all about capturing you—your personality, your essence, and the unique energy you bring. When I take your portrait, I want to create more than just a picture. I want to tell your story.

The first thing I’ll focus on is lighting. Lighting can really set the mood of the shot, so I’ll either use natural light or studio lights to create the perfect vibe. Soft, natural light can give a relaxed, approachable feel, while more dramatic lighting can create something bold and powerful. It all depends on how you want to be represented.

I also pay attention to the background. The last thing we want is something distracting behind you, so I’ll either keep the background simple or blur it out to really make you the focal point. If the background adds something to the vibe—like a little texture or color—I'll make sure it complements you.

But it’s not just about the technical stuff; it’s about how you feel in front of the camera. I'll make sure you’re comfortable, and we can chat or even have a laugh to get you relaxed and bring out your most authentic expression. Whether it’s a big smile or a more serious look, my goal is to capture who you really are.

I’ll also move around you and try different angles to find the one that works best. Whether it's a close-up of your face or a wider shot, I’ll make sure we get a variety of options.

At the end of the day, this is about creating an image that you’ll love and feel connected to. You want to look at this portrait and say, 'That’s me!' And that’s exactly what I aim to achieve.

Editorial  & Creative photography

Editorial Photography: This type of photography is designed to tell a story or convey an idea through images, often used in magazines, newspapers, blogs, or other publications. It typically focuses on capturing a moment, a scene, or a subject in a way that enhances the accompanying article or narrative. Editorial photos are meant to inform, entertain, or engage the audience, often showcasing real-life scenarios, people, or events. It's all about creating images that complement written content, adding depth and context.

Creative Photography: Creative photography is all about pushing the boundaries of traditional photography and expressing ideas through imaginative concepts, lighting, compositions, and editing. It's a more artistic approach where the focus is on aesthetics, mood, and innovation. Creative photography can be used in advertising, branding, or personal projects and allows for a high degree of customization to align with a brand's unique identity. The goal is to create visually captivating and original images that stand out and evoke emotion or spark curiosity.

FAQ

1. How do I book a photo session with you?

Initial Inquiry

Contact Me: The first step is for clients to reach out to you. You can provide various contact options like:

Email: Include your professional email address.

Phone/Text: Offer a phone number for direct contact.

Website or Social Media: If you have a website or social media profiles, encourage them to send a message or fill out a contact form.

2. Can I customize a photography package to fit my specific needs?

Package Tiers

Basic Package: This might include a shorter shoot with a limited number of photos. Great for clients who want a more budget-friendly option or only need a few high-quality images.

Standard Package: This could include more time for the session, a larger number of photos, and possibly some additional services like light editing or a printed photo.

Premium Package: This might be a full-day shoot, extensive photo editing, an album, extra services like a second photographer or a video, and a larger selection of high-res photos.

3. How long does it take to receive the final edited images?

Editing for a standard session usually takes 1-2 weeks.

For events like weddings, parties, or elopements, the editing process takes a bit longer, typically around 6-8 weeks.

4. How do I prepare for a portrait session with you?

Wardrobe Choices

Plan your outfits in advance: Bring a few options, especially if you're unsure about the final look. Consider different colors and textures, and make sure your clothes fit comfortably.

Avoid busy patterns: Solid colors or subtle patterns tend to photograph better. Avoid clothing with logos or text, as they can distract from your face and the overall image.

Coordinate, don’t match: If you're bringing others, aim for coordinated outfits rather than identical ones. This creates a more natural and visually appealing look.

Bring accessories: Hats, scarves, jewelry, or any other personal items can add a nice touch to your photos.

Comfort is key: If you're comfortable in your outfit, it’ll show in the photos!

5. How many products can be photographed during a product / Branding photography session?

Product Variations: If the client offers a product in different colors, sizes, or variations, it can be helpful to bring a few options to showcase diversity, but keep it within a manageable number (1–3 variants of the same product).
